U can call us, whatsapp us, send us an email or place an online order. We will then contact you to schedule the appointment and discuss some matters.
An extra service we offer is that we will remove your curtains from the rails and after cleaning we will hang the curtains back up neatly.
After picking up the curtains at your place, we will inspect and measure the curtains. So that we can give you an exact price for dry cleaning your curtains. If you agree to the price, we will determine the best and safest way to clean your curtains (dry clean or wash). So that they are fresh and free of bacteria (dust mite).
After cleaning, we perform a final inspection of your curtains to check of the hem has come undone and if all the pleats and hooks are still in good condition. If necessary, we will repair this.
Then, we finish your curtains in a special way to make them look nice and smooth again, so that they hang wrinkle-free and you can once again enjoy your beautiful, clean curtains and/or voile curtains again.
When measuring your curtains and/or net curtains, we always measure from top to bottom (length) and at the bottom of the curtains from left to right (width).
For example: Your curtains are 2.10 meters high from top to bottom and measured at the bottom the curtains are 1.50 meters long.
2.10m x 1.50m = total 3.15m2 (square meter).

The costs of cleaning your beautiful and precious curtains depends on the total number of square meters (m2) of the curtains and the type of materials and number of layers the curtains have.

For example, linen curtains require more attention and work than cotton curtains, for example. That is why prices differ per curtain type.
For cleaning your curtains, “steaming” is not actually the correct term. Your curtains are chemically cleaned in our dry cleaning machine. Your curtains go into a large enclosed machine. It looks like a very large washing machine. However, with dry cleaning does, no water is used but a special liquid.
We at gordijnenstomen.nl use the liquid “KWL”. This is the most environmentally friendly liquid available on the market!
Many other companies still use, for example, “PER” (Perchlorethylene).
PER is a very chemical liquid that is harmful to the environment and your health. It can also be very aggressive to your curtains. It can cause your curtains to lose their beautiful color, have a strong smell and become gray and rought to the touch.
On the other hand, “KWL” is a very mild liquid that is almost odorless, which ensures that the beautiful colors are preserved and your curtains feel very soft after cleaning. And this is exactly what you want!
After the cleaning process “steaming”, the curtains are manually pressed “ironed” on our special pressing machine. With this, we press out all the wrinkles in the curtains. So that they hang wrinkle-free in front of your windows again.
